Dynamics of the etiological structure from sputum of patients with pneumonia
Microbiological characteristics of respiratory infections change specific structure. Therefore, constant microbiological monitoring of specific structure, specific properties, and antibiotic resistance is required.
The purpose of this research is to produce a dynamic analysis of microbial spectrum from sputum of patients with pneumonia at the National Medical Research Centre.
From 2007 to 2012, 400 strains of microbes were isolated from sputum of patients with pneumonia. Identification was determined by the microbiological computer analyzer ?Vitek 2-Compact?.
Thus, our results showed that the basic pathogen of pneumonia was Streptococcus pneumoniae.
