respiratory infections change specific structure. Therefore, constant
microbiological monitoring of specific structure, specific properties,
and antibiotic resistance is required.
The purpose of this research is to produce a dynamic analysis of
microbial spectrum from sputum of patients with pneumonia at the
National Medical Research Centre.
From 2007 to 2012, 400 strains of microbes were isolated from sputum of
patients with pneumonia. Identification was determined by the
microbiological computer analyzer «Vitek 2-Compact».
Comparative analysis of the microbial landscape showed that
S.pneumoniae had a high level of detection. It increased from 37.5% in
2007 to 45% in 2012. In the same period, sputum detection of
Enterococcus faecalis increased from 1.7% to 10%, and of Candida
albicans from 1.7% to 4.2%. At the same time, there was a decrease in
detection of Streptococcus pyogenes by 3 times and Moraxella
catarrhalis by 2.5 times.
Thus, our results showed that the basic pathogen of pneumonia was
